Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World

Gary Larson is back and better than ever!

Oh. Wait.

Stories about the British Navy, ships, boats, water, sailing, the Napoleonic wars, England ruling the waves and waiving the rules, etc. are of no interest to me. But this was very good. I don't spend a lot of time sitting around thinking about Peter Weir, but every movie I've seen by him has been enjoyable. He is a master craftsman, and sometimes (e.g. The Mosquito Coast, Witness) more than that. I still haven't tried to watch Dead Poets Society, though. Robin Williams. Blecchh.
