You can't always get what you want, but you will get the Rolling Stones on Oct. 1 at Hersheypark Stadium.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood announced the itinerary for their 2005-06 world tour yesterday at The Juilliard School in New York City. It includes the band's first stop in central Pennsylvania since it played the state Farm Show Complex in 1964.


Tickets for [the] Hershey show are $175, $99 and $60...

Richards, 61, said money was not the point of this return to the road. "You can have the money," he told a journalist asking about the potential windfall from the tour.
It has been suggested that if Keef and the boys really want to follow through on that notion, they could play for free. Gee, I don't know -- last time they played a free concert, it didn't really work out so well.
