Jamie Lidell, What's The Use. This is a free download on iTunes (it's still available as of this writing). I had come across a few of his tracks on the internets before this. The best was the reggae-ish Multiply. What's The Use is straight out white boy soul with some modern sound effects. Not the kind of thing I usually go for, but it's pretty catchy. The guy can really sing. The big rage of the moment on the hipster blogs is Crazy by Gnarls Barkley, which is similar in style but not as good.

Listening to...
