Kids Say The Most Scientifically Precise Things

Today is my 10th wedding anniversary, and, not coincidentally, my wife's as well. The other night, we were engaging in our favorite hobby -- teasing the children -- when the subject of our wedding came up. "Why wasn't I at your wedding?" asked Four. "You were just Mommy and Daddy holding hands at that point," I (non-)answered. "So remember, if you hold hands with a boy, you'll have a baby," said Wife. Nice.

A few nights later, the topic came up again. This time, when Four asked why she had to miss the cake, dancing and Yuengling (I'm paraphrasing), Seven said, "You were just an egg -- an unfertilized egg!"
