Does Not Compute

More bands voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and still no Kraftwerk. It defies explanation.

I'm not going to repeat the screed I posted a year ago. But c'mon -- Dion is in, for Christ's sake! Bobby Darin -- in. Cream, who had a career spanning all of 2 and a half years, is in. George Harrison is in for his solo career. The Bee Gees, the Lovin' Spoonful, Gene Pitney, Traffic... it goes on and on. Choices like these don't bring a lot of credibility to the institution. Maybe Kraftwerk is better off not being associated with these guys.

Yes, there's a reason the RnR HoF includes legends and true inspirations like Gene Pitney and not boring, niche players like Kraftwerk.

They have talent and they made glorius, melodic, rhythmic music. They will be remembered forever.

We all know that Hot Butter should get in before Kraftwerk.
