Video Vault: The B-52s, Legal Tender

OK, really, I have nothing against the B-52s, despite my recent gratuitous jab at them. I'm not a big fan, and I have never understood the appeal of Love Shack, but they're generally a fun bunch. I saw them at F&M College 407 years ago. They were touring in support of Whammy!, which was their synth-pop new wave album and made them sound like Devo's hipster cousins. I liked it more than most of their other stuff. I always liked Legal Tender in particular:



And Song For A Future Generation is a neat concept, with the band members giving little deadpan personal ads and swinging coolly through the video:

Michael, I've decided that the Bush Countdown Clock is off by an hour. I changed my end-time to 11:00 to make it work right.
