May 4, 1975: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Philadelphia Phillies for Willie Montanez.This was one of the first baseball-related program activities I remember from when I was a kid. Willie Montanez was a flamboyant, popular player, but this ended up being a tremendous deal for the Phillies.
